Hardy Island is centered between some of BC’s best boating territories, Jervis Inlet and Desolation Sound Marine Park, and is a sanctuary well sought after for its natural beauty, privacy, sheltered warm waters and abundance of marine wildlife. It is a recreational retreat that is easily accessed by air or water in a short period of time.

An internal road network connects all the properties on the Island, which is a great benefit not only to be able to deliver supplies and materials, but to visit with neighbours. The Island is a Mecca for marine recreational activity, including boating, fishing, kayaking, scuba diving, site seeing and swimming. There are endless amounts of shoreline to explore, but one does not have to venture any further than your own dock to catch your daily limit in prawns, crabs, oysters and clams.

There are multiple marinas in the Pender Harbour area providing access to properties on Malaspina Strait. These areas include Billings Bay, Cockburn Bay, Hidden Basin and the strata community of Quarry Bay. Given the close proximity to Pender Harbour, subsidized water taxi services are available for Quarry Bay property owners.

There are three marinas in Egmont, the Back Eddy, Bath Gate and the Egmont Harbour Authority. Contact information is provided in links below. Moccasin Valley Marina is located near Earls Cove and provides great access to Agamemnon Channel and properties in Blind Bay.

Saltery Bay Harbour Authority and Hummingbird Cove Marina located south of Powell River are very close access points to the highly desirable Blind Bay area of Nelson Island. Boat storage and haul out services are available at Hummingbird Cove.
