A popular spot for dinner is the Boardwalk Restaurant, as the location is perfect for watching amazing sunsets. Not only does Lund have all the amenities you need, it is the ultimate home base for outdoor adventure.
You do not need to travel very far to find excellent crabbing, prawning and salmon fishing, as you can do it all in a 5 mile radius. You can launch or moor your boat right at the Government Wharf. There are also a couple of private marinas in the area, a fuel dock, a marine mechanic service and a company offering out services with storage. Lund has the complete setup for the boating community. There are numerous day trips that can be taken from Lund into Desolation Sound Marine Park.
Lund plays host to a shellfish festival in the last weekend of May. Come and eat fresh local seafood, listen to local musicians and watch free cooking demonstrations. You will also find many booths set up with local artisans selling their goods.
